Nushi Art House Summer Camp is a full-day creative experience designed for teens who want to work with real clay, develop skills, and create pieces they’re proud to use and keep.
This is not a general art camp — it’s a focused pottery experience where each day is dedicated to hands-on work with clay in a calm, well-structured studio environment.
Students will explore both pottery wheel and handbuilding techniques, building confidence while creating functional and expressive ceramic pieces.
• Learn pottery wheel fundamentals (centering, shaping, form)
• Work with handbuilding techniques (bowls, forms, creative pieces)
• Trim, refine, and finish their work
• Explore surface design (glazing, texture, simple decorative techniques)
• Complete multiple finished, kiln-fired pieces throughout the week
