Handmade Butterflies & Flowers for Your Home & Garden 12+

Create beautiful ceramic butterflies and flowers designed to bring color and personality to your home or garden.

In this guided handbuilding workshop, you’ll shape your own pieces from clay using simple slab techniques — no prior experience needed. In a second session, you’ll return to glaze your creations, learning how to combine colors and details for a vibrant, finished look.

Each piece is kiln-fired and transformed into a lasting decorative artwork you’ll be proud to display.

What to Expect

Workshop Format

Session 1 – Handbuilding (approx. 2 hours)
Create your pieces using slab techniques, adding texture and shaping your design.

Session 2 – Glazing (approx. 1.5–2 hours)
Return to glaze your pieces and complete them with your chosen colors.

Pickup
Your finished pieces will be ready in approximately 2–3 weeks after firing.

Good to Know

• No experience needed — beginner-friendly
• Recommended for ages 12+ (younger participants may join with guidance)
• All materials, tools, glazing, and kiln firing included
• Suitable for indoor or outdoor decorative use
• Wear comfortable clothing (clay can get slightly messy)
• Attendance at both sessions is required

Small Group Experience

We keep our workshops small and personal (minimum 4 participants). If the minimum isn’t met, we’ll offer an easy reschedule or credit.
