Intro to Pottery Wheel

Discover the art of the pottery wheel in a calm, guided studio experience. This beginner-friendly class is perfect for first-time guests who want to explore working with clay in a beautiful and welcoming environment.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing and create your own piece, with step-by-step guidance throughout the process. The focus is on enjoying the experience, building confidence, and connecting with the creative flow of clay.

All materials are included for your wheel session. This experience is centered on the creation process, and finishing your piece is optional and can be arranged at the end of your class if you choose to continue with your creation.

Finishing Your Piece

If you’d like to keep your creation, you can choose to complete it after your session.

Kiln Firing — $15 (per piece)
We fire your piece so it becomes solid ceramic with a natural finish.

Complete Finish — $30 (per piece, recommended)
Return to glaze your piece with your own colors, followed by final firing for a smooth, finished result.

Finishing is optional and can be decided at the end of your class.
